Data Protection Declaration (DSGVO)

DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

1. Personal data

We, FloorBridge International GmbH, in compliance with data protection and civil law provisions, collect, process and use your personal data exclusively after obtaining your express consent and/or being commissioned by you, within the scope of an existing contractual relationship or a contract to be concluded with you for agreed purposes or in the case of any other legal basis in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We only collect personal data which is necessary for the execution and processing of our services or which you have made available to us on a voluntary basis.

Personal data means all data containing individual references to personal or factual circumstances such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video footage, photos, etc. Sensitive data, such as health data, may also be included.

2. Information and deletion

As a data subject, you are entitled to access your stored personal data and obtain information on its origin, the recipients and the purpose of data processing, you have the right to have your personal data corrected and transmitted, you may object to or restrict data processing, and you are entitled to block or delete inaccurate or unlawfully processed data at any time.

Please inform us of any changes to your personal data.

You have the right to withdraw your consent for the use of your personal data at any time. Requests regarding information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transmission, provided that this does not involve a disproportionate effort in the latter case, can be sent to our company to the address indicated at the end of this data protection statement.

If you suspect that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable legal regulations or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority is the data protection authority.

3. Data security

The protection of your personal data is ensured by appropriate organisational and technical measures. These measures concern, in particular, protection against unauthorised, unlawful or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that the information you have made available to us over the internet may be viewed and used by third parties.

Please note that we therefore accept no liability of any kind for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third parties which we are not responsible for (e.g. hacking of email accounts or telephone lines, interception of fax messages).

4. Use of data

We shall not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by the contractual relationship, the consent you have given or by a provision in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This does not apply to the use of data for statistical purposes, provided that the data provided has been rendered anonymous.

5. Transmission of data to third parties

In order to fulfil the contractual relationship, we may also be required to pass on your data to third parties, courts or authorities. Your data will be transmitted exclusively on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), specifically in order to fulfil the contractual relationship or on the basis of your prior consent.

Some of the aforementioned recipients of your personal data are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of protection of personal data in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. However, we shall only transfer your personal data to countries with a level of protection that the European Commission has deemed adequate, or we will take measures to ensure that all recipients enjoy an adequate level of data protection by including standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

6. Notification of personal data breaches

We make every effort to ensure that data breaches are detected at an early stage and, if applicable, reported immediately to you or the responsible supervisory authority, including information on the respective data categories that are affected.

7. Data storage

We shall not keep data for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against any liability claims.

8. Tracking services

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics makes use of cookies, which are text files stored on the user’s computer for the purpose of analyzing the browsing behaviour of users of the website. The information generated by cookies about the use of this website by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP pseudonymization has been activated on this website so that the IP addresses of Google users within Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area are previously shortened. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA before being shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. Google will not associate the IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by setting your browser software accordingly. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting personal data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your data from being recorded when you visit this website in the future:

Deactivate Google Analytics

Further information on the terms of use and data protection can be found in the Terms or in the Privacy Overview. Please note that our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “gat._anonymizedIp();” in order to ensure that IP addresses are rendered anonymous (IP masking).

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies in order to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

A cookie is a small text file that we transmit to your browser’s cookie file on your computer’s hard drive via our web server. This enables our website to recognize you as a user whenever a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the number of visits to, and users of, our website. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number that precludes the personal identification of users. The primary purpose of cookies is to recognize repeat visitors of a website.

Two types of cookies are used on this website:

Session cookies: These are temporary cookies which remain in your browser’s cookie file until you leave our website and are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

Permanent cookies: Cookies remain stored on your hard drive to ensure greater user-friendliness and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.

The functionality of this website may be restricted when cookies are deactivated.

10. Server log files

In order to optimize our website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and as regards the provision of useful information about our services, the provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted to us by your browser. This information includes your internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language settings, the operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider and date/time.

We do not combine this data with personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data at a later point in time if we become aware of any concrete indications of unlawful use.

11. Facebook social plug-ins

We use social plug-ins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. The plug-ins can be identified by the Facebook logo or the suffix “Facebook social plug-in”. By clicking the “Like” button or posting a comment, for example, your browser sends the relevant information directly to Facebook and stores it there. Facebook also shares your preferences with your Facebook friends. If you are logged in to your Facebook account, Facebook can make a direct connection between your visit to our website and your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in, or do not have a Facebook account at all, your browser transmits information (e.g. which website you have accessed, your IP address) which is then stored by Facebook. Please note that, as the provider of these web pages, we are not aware of the content of the transmitted data or of its use by Facebook. For further details on the handling of your personal data by Facebook and your rights relating thereto, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not wish Facebook to associate the information we collect about you from our websites with your Facebook account, you will need to log out of Facebook before visiting our web pages.

12. Youtube social plug-ins

We use social plug-ins from Google’s YouTube site. This site is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit our website, which is equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection to the YouTube server is established. The Youtube server is then informed that you have visited our web pages.

By logging in to your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your visit to our website with your user account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

13. Google AdWords

We also use the advertising tool “Google-Adwords” to promote our website. For this purpose, we use the analysis service “Conversion-Tracking” provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, on our website. If you access our website via a Google ad, a cookie will be stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These so-called “conversion cookies” expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookies have not yet expired, both Google and we can see that you as a user have clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and have been redirected to our page. Google uses the information collected by conversion cookies to generate statistical data on how visitors use our website. These statistics show us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and also which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user. However, we do not receive any information which could be used to personally identify users.

You can prevent conversion cookies from being installed by setting your browser accordingly, e.g. by selecting a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or specifically blocks cookies from the “googleadservices.com” domain only.

Google’s respective data protection declaration is available under the following link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?gl=de

14. Newsletter

Subscribing to our newsletter involves a so-called double opt-in process, i.e. after registering you will receive an email requesting confirmation of your registration. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no one else can log in with a different email address. Subscriptions to our newsletter are recorded in order to be able to provide evidence of the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storage of the time of login and confirmation as well as the IP address. Any changes to your data stored with the shipping service provider are also recorded.

Furthermore, the shipping service provider can use this data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without it being attributed to a specific data subject, in order to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of dispatch and the presentation of newsletters or for statistical purposes in order to determine which countries the recipients are from. The shipping service provider, however, does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact them directly and does not transfer this data to third parties.

To subscribe to our newsletter, simply enter your email address.

Our  newsletter is sent, and performance is measured, on the basis of the recipient’s consent pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and art. 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with section 107 para. 2 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG), or as is legally permitted under section 107 para. 2 and 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG).

The subscription procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 lit. of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is used as proof of consent to receiving our newsletter.

You can cancel our newsletter, i.e. revoke your consent, at any time. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If users have only subscribed to the newsletter and have cancelled their subscription, their personal data will be deleted.
