Broken floor joints rusted by de-icing salt were the subject of one of the underground car parks in the Waldschlösschen in Dresden. This led to high-vibration passes and even greater damage to the floor slab along the floor joint.
Therefore, the Waldschlösschen decided to install metal-free and watertight floor joint profiles for their underground car park. The tight and force-fitted transition to the car park coating prevents the concrete from spalling. Due to the adaptability of our profiles, the required wall elevation was not a problem either. A red coating was chosen so that the joint profiles also visually fitted the colour concept of the underground car park. So far, the installer Müller Fugensysteme GmbH has fitted 200 running meters – another 200 will follow.
